Second custom breadcrumb is always [node:title] -> [node:nid]

No matter what I try, the second breadcrumb in my custom list always outputs as the node title linked to the node.

I've tried this in ways specific to my site, but here is a generic example that should clearly illustrate the issue:

Titles:
Level 1
Level 2
Level 3

Paths:
< none >
< none >
< none >

Output:
Level 1 (not linked) > Node Title (linked to node) > Level 3 (not linked)

Everything is as expected except for the level 2 breadcrumb displays the current node title, linking to the current node path.

Going to give the dev version a spin....

Update: That didn't work very well. Back to alpha-1. I should note that the net effect of this bug is that only 2-deep breadcrumbs are possible.
