My local install uses Acquia Dev Control Panel (Core Drupal install) to launch. Nice menus work fine across all browsers. When I upload to the server, though, all i get is an unordered list. I've tried reinstalling the site twice. Any ideas?

Same problem - mine was due to the fact that Linux paths are case sensitive and I had my theme setting pointing to "customcss" instead of "CustomCSS" which is where I'd saved the custom file. Windows doesn't care.

Sounds like an issue in your deployment or configuration unrelated to nice menus itself.
