Ideas for rewrite of this module.

I'm playing around with the sources of audiofield module, and I have a few new ideas to rewrite this. Most of the supported players aren't really popular, and some are no longer available.

I've got the following idea's, audiofield should just support the HTML5 audio tag and API for various UI settings. For every other supported player we will create submodules. I believe the result would be a cleaner code which will be easier to maintain. Because I'm not the maintainer of this module, I would like to ask what you guys think about my idea's?
