Does Pdfview require tcpdf for version 5.1.x? And is there a plan to write up some documentation?

it does,
just download the library and put it in folder called tcpdf in the pdfview module folder
also
i had to follow instructions
http://drupal.org/node/130779
to get it to work properly
not sure where the documentation is either.
