I experienced a bug when upgrading Views to 7.x-3.0-rc3 that bojanz traced back to my version of Admin Menu (7.x-3.0-rc1) being out of date - #1344350: Error after updating from 7.x-3.0-rc1 to rc3. Since the current recommended version of Admin Menu is 11 months old, I'm wondering if the dev version is in good enough shape to release RC2 — I'm guessing using release candidate versions of both Admin Menu and Views is a reasonably popular combination.

sunAdministration Views is a separate and dedicated project now; #1058638: Move admin_views into dedicated project

brightboldSorry to be unclear - the issue wasn't supposed to be about fixing the Views bug. It was about the fact that the last release candidate for this module is over a year old, and there has been tons of development on it in the last 13 months, so maybe you'd like to consider a new release.
But there may be perfectly good reasons why you're not doing that. I'm not a module maintainer so I admit to having no perspective on that. But from a sitebuilder perspective it would be really nice to have one, and I was thinking it might cut down on support requests on your end, since most people tend to install the stable version rather than the latest dev release.
