Missing the Active Tags Popular for D7. Any plan on that?

We thought it was another module.
It's a nice thing to have, although no response.
Writing a comment sometimes gets a little more attention that just clicking that follow box.
If Active Tags people are too busy, some one else might implement it.

jitesh doshi commentedAs lolandese pointed out, the Popular Tags module at http://drupal.org/sandbox/jitesh_doshi/1751332 does just what you're asking for. I'm the author.
It is right now in sandbox, but it is going through the approval process. In fact, the code review is already done. Just a matter of me getting enough review credits before the admins will upgrade it to full project.
And please feel free to ask me questions or request features if needed.
