I've noticed that Firestats will break any podcast that you have going. There needs to be a "Disable for these paths" option instead of just the blanket "Disable for administrative pages".
I came accross this one when I noticed that my podcast was not updating in iTunes. I hunted around for a while, when I attempted to subscribe on a different machine I received the error that that I didn't have a valid podcast. I disabled Firestats module in drupal, and the feed works fine. I enable the firestats module, and the feed no longer works.
Hopefully this can be fixed soon as I would like to keep tracking my stats using firestats. Thanks for your help.

Gurpartap Singh commentedWhat module/feature/implementation-way are you using for your podcasts? Rather than working on the work-around feature, we could go on and fix the problem. The feature can go secondary..

webservant commentedWe're using the audio module which utilizes the views module for creating the podcast. All we have done is to create a view that holds just the audio we want for our podcast.
Thanks for the fast reply.

webservant commentedLooks like the introduction of the Firestats 1.2.3 fixes this issue. There were some errors when using Firestats with Drupal, and they are now fixed. I thought this was a problem with the drupal code, but now I know it is not. So, this case can now be closed as things are working just fine.
