How do I sort views by node title, but not include "A" and "The" etc

I have lists of items created by import processes, and many have titles that begin with articles like "A" "The" "Los" "La" etc, which messes up browsing by title.

Is there a way to sort titles by the second word, or otherwise filter out a predetermined set of words in a view?
