I wrote *very* similar functionality for a client project that just provided a simple checkbox on the block edit form to slidebox enable an entire block. It would be great to bring this functionality here as well. I'll try and get this provided.

When I get some more time available, I might take a shot at it if no one else has. I'm also trying to understand the practicality of applying Slidebox to just a block, unless he is meaning make a block function like Slidebox.

If the latter is the case, then I should probably move this to 2.x.

I'm not going to do this in 1.x, and 2.x now uses Regions.
