Today is November 30. The mini-calendar "browse events" block from the Event module is not very useful because it shows the whole month of November - all of the dates in the past. Very hard to see what is coming up in December.

To be more useful every day of the month, the block should show the next 5 weeks (or so) starting from the current date.

I realize there is a 2nd block called "Upcoming events" which lists the upcoming events in a list fashion. That is useful for other things. But having the Browse events always be the current month, even when it is the last day of the month, means this module is not very useful.

I think a calendar view of the next "x" weeks would be a good addition.

Hmm, accidentally created this as "fixed". I wonder if that was the default for a new issue. Anyway, changing status to active.
