Seperate Steps

My apologies if this was covered as an issue in the past, but I was unable to find a direct answer to it. I'm wondering how feasible it would be to separate the steps. I noticed that if you look up the standard for recipeml they have the different recipe steps separated in the XML as a node . I know that there may be disadvantages / complications to storing the steps in separate fields, but perhaps there is a way to store them with a delimiter. Just seems kinda strange that if you import a recipeml file the "steps" are lost and combined into one field.
