Maybe it was just me, but I wanted to use freelinking to link certain regexs and not just the default brackets/camelcase. It was obviously an easy thing to do, I just changed the $freelinkingregexp variable, but it could be useful as a configurable option through the module itself.

Thanks for the great module, though, saved me tons of time!

I'm not sure how useful this would be for the majority of users. As you said, though, it's pretty easy to hack. Perhaps the Flexifilter project could be of use here.
