Features enabled for a space in spaces_Taxonomy

Issue Summary

I have created taxonomy called sites where i have created two terms 'Site A' and 'Site B' with their PURL modifications. Now when i go to the taxonomy term edit, i find a features tab like 'taxonomy/term/[nid]/features'. I created a feature with spaces[types][] = "all" in the .info file. I can see my features in the taxonomy term tab.

My issue is that when i enable the feature for Site A, it automatically gets enabled for Site B too. Similarly for Site B to Site A. Same holds for the default home page. When i change on the 'taxonomy/term/[nid]/features' page for Site A, the same is copied to Site B. Am i missing some configuration. I see nothing saved to my space_overrides table. Do i need to do something.
