Alinks limit not respected

This works for me with the latest version.

I'm having the same problem.

For me, it's because italics is being used.

example, it will alink every instance of

<em>food</em>

but not
food

Is there a fix?

There isn't a fix for drupal 6, but it's fixed in 7x. The fix could be back ported.

Well, I would like it backported if possible.
