I really miss the possibility to select "whole day" and "whole event" length of time slots. It makes sense to have full-time slot length even for events, that last more than one day. Especially when organizing camps, tracks etc. The only thing that matters is, who comes and who not.
The volunteer module is no longer alive and this one could also serve for community meeting planing.

Are you trying to use this with modules in addition to event, or are you just suggesting that the drop-down should have an option of "whil event" in addition to X hours?

I'm just suggesting the additional flexibility of the timeslot length. But yes, I'd like to use this module for organizing groups, not only volunteers, using the "event with volunteer timeslots" nodetype. So may be the naming "volunteer timeslots" could be changed to "participants". At least for my purposes it sounds much better :)

I would like to see this option too. Additionally, for a "whole event," it's possible that you may want to allow more than 20 volunteers to sign up, which seems to be the current limit.
