I'm trying to post Turkish text and it seems to work fine when i Preview the post. (See attached screen shot for how the text is supposed to look.) But after I Submit the page to be posted, many of the foreign letters turn into question marks.
See link: http://jasonquinlan.com/catal/node/30
Is this because of some issue of how the text get put into the MySQL database?
Any ideas? This has been driving me nuts....

sutharsan commentedPlease check the character encoding of you database. See this forum topic: http://drupal.org/node/68282. Although this is about Drupal 4.7 it may be the tip your looking for. Check (with your hosting provider) if the database can handle UTF-8 encoding.

cosmicdreams commentedI'm not familar with translation issues, but I do know that translation is an issue that drupal 6 is trying to deal with. I think you would be best served if I would triage your support request to the folks working on that release.
