A role never expires if assigned to a new user buying

I could observe that when an anonymous user added to the cart a product which assigned a role, the user registration took place during the checkout and once the role assigned, it never expired, even if the expiration date was past. It is a serious problem because most of the customers are new users... If the user made his registration before his buying, there is no problem.
