Hi,

I have installed and activated the Table of Contents module under Drupal 7. In the Text Format configuration I can see all the table of contents settings and have set these as required. When I create content I can see the table of contents settings for the article.

However when I view the article no table of contents appears. The [toc] tag is displayed intact ans the headers have no anchor inserted. I have tried both with and without Assign an ID to each anchors enabled. I have also tried turning off all other filters and using the plain text format. However nothing I change makes any difference. I have also tried enabling the automatic table of contents.

I am at a complete loss to know how to proceed as everything looks okay, I just don't get the TOC. The way I was going to use this site is predicated on this working so I really need some help to get it fixed.

This post indicates it is only working in blocks at the moment.

I am just doing some tidying of my personal issue queue, and this was open in it.

This should work with the latest 7.x-1.x dev, or the 7.x-2.x dev which works a little different. You may also need to try using [[toc]]. You could also try my upcoming new project (currently sandbox), Simple-TOC
