I want an authorized person to be able to create a new Page, Edit and Delete it. When I remove the administer nodes permission, he is loosing the following necessary features:

  • Authoring Information
  • Revision Information
  • Publishing (workflow)

What other permission(s) should I enable so he will have the features above?

Based on the requirement you can give the following set of permissions:

Page Content:
create page content
edit own page content
delete own page content

Revisions:
view revisions
revert revisions
delete revisions

Workflow:
access workflow summary views
administer workflow
schedule workflow transitions

Thanks for the quick reply. I do have the Page and Revision permissions the same as you indicated. However I can't see any workflow or Publishing permissions on /admin/user/permissions
Note that even that Revision permissions are set, he still can't see the revision option when creating or editing a page.
I'm using Pixture-Reloaded theme and have tried another theme with the same issue.

I tried this with another domain and it's behaving exactly the same. i.e.: if "administer nodes" is not assigned to an authenticated user, then Authoring, Revision and Publishing options will not be enabled for them.
Surely there must be a way to let users have these options, hopefully someone can help me with it.
