I set
'HOW TO DISPLAY SERVICE LINKS'
to
'Only Image'

But the service icons are always displayed with the name of the service next to them.

Experiencing the same issue with the 7.x-2.1 version changing this setting in admin/config/services/service-links. However, if you display the service links in blocks, you only see an image if you choose this in the block settings.
