Nice short writeups by Media Crumb related to a recently finished project they did for SimplyHired. In redesigning SimplyFired, a companion site, they looked to Drupal and Pligg for the ability to build a site with Digg-like voting functionality. They eventually went with Pligg, but there are some good bits in both blog posts about Drupal.

I'm about to launch a site with news submission and voting ability as well, and also went through the process of weighing which CMS would serve my needs better, and long story short, I went with Drupal for many of the same reasons mentioned in the second story.

Interesting. Are there any other sites successfully using Drupaligg?

Check out www.mymobilepals.com that just launched. We have couple of more sites coming up in the future that would use drupaligg.
