I tried with latest dev-version and 7.9 with and without Bartik enabled, but I couldn't get this to reproduce.

Thinking that it was something in my dev environment, I moved the site to an account on an online host. Undefined Index is still reported. Checking another site on the same host running 7.10 the Undefined Index is also reported.

Online Environment
PHP 5.3.8
Aapche 2.2.19

php.ini file for the online environment is attached - (php.txt)

No other themes seems to trigger this.

I am willing to provide whatever necessary information is required to track this down.
