Hi All,

I have installed ckeditor dev version and it didnt complete, some error occurred in between. after that i tried by copying the folder ckeditor to sites/all/modules. but again it didnt work. then i tried to uninstall but the name was there in modules list and didnt allow me to reinstall again....

finally i manually deleted the folders and deleted entry from the table system and deleted the table ckeditor_settings.... still the CKeditor is listed in modules list and i am not able to install it.

can anybody help me on this????? i am very new to drupal and i have tried most of the things discussed in the support threads....

can anybody help me on this?

To uninstall module first mark it as disabled in modules list and save configuration. Than go to "Uninstall" tab , mark modules to uninstall and click 'Uninstall' button. This should remove module.
After this you should install module again. If there are any errors please write what they are.

I've already tried what you said, I uncheck the ckeditor and uninstall it. But after that, the ckeditor is still there and if you check it again, it still can work... what should i do？

Try manually delete CKEditor's table from database (after uninstall module). Than try to install it again.
