I've been using it under 4.7 and it has worked well -- a 5.1 version would be nice...

It seems like ideaoforder, the contributor and maintainer of Node Adoption, hasn't posted anything since March, and his contact form isn't enabled.

Node Adoption is a small module, but it serves a useful purpose, and if it's orphaned, I'd be interested in taking over its maintenance and updating it for 5.x.

salvis - File an issue stating that you'd like to take over. That seems to be the procedure now for requesting a module take over. I'm a little unclear on exactly how it works, but I think they wait 2 weeks to see if there's a response from the current maintainer.

Hey all,

I'll take a look at updating Node Adoption this week and post back. If I get too bogged down with other stuff, I'll add you, Salvis, as a maintainer--then you'll have full access to post updates and releases. More soon.

Hey all, I just added a 5.x release. You can now transfer node ownership at anytime and between any two users, not just orphaned nodes. Let me know if everything works as expected. Cheers!
