500 Error on install

The first thing I would try is increasing your php memory limit.

For right now, i'm going to leave this openso that others who have this problem can try this solution too.

I've the same issue. I've increased memory_limit to 256MB, but the error raise always around the 50% of the installation.

UPDATE
At the end it turned out the in my case the error was raised because some files was corrupted by the unrar utility.
