I upgraded pathauto 6.x-1.5 to 6.x-1.6 & Token 6.16 to 6.18. I uploaded some nodes by sql.
I run "Bulk Generate aliases for nodes that are not aliased" by user interface (Administer › Site building › URL aliases). It run few minutes & display "The configuration options have been saved." ???

In database (url_alias), no record created.
