You can link directly to a tab by adding the link of the tab at the end of the page url. But at the moment this is something like 'tabs-0-bottom-1', this is not really saying much and not really pretty when the rest of url is nice and clean.

Wouldn't it be more useful if it took the text of the label of the tab and created a link with that? Like a machine name with terms.
Or an option to manually set the link?

+1 for having both options: by default a path with the transliterated title of the tab content (node/123#the-title-of-the-tab), and also the option to set a custom anchor.

But I guess you'd need a way to ensure a unique value for each tab.
