I need to be able to allow users to upload multiple photos to add to galleries. I need to be able to make each gallery upload to its own folder. and it would be nice but not necessary to have gallery hierarchies. I been looking for a module or way to do these things for about a month now and it is very frustrating.

There's no way to make gallery hierarchies at the moment, sorry.
You can only try to emulate it using the Views module.

Image upload to multiple folders and multi-upload is out of the scope of this module. There should be other modules out there doing that.
