Hi,

One of the great things of the Advanced Forum module and the core Forum is that you can add the forum taxonomy to any node type and they will become part of the forum. This kind of behavior really rocks in Drupal.

The problem is that, when you do this, you get two buttons in the forum list: the normal "create Forum topic" and the new "Create [Node-Type]" (you can see this at my Tailandia forum). Only the "Create [Node-Type]" should be there.

Best regards and happy new year,
Juan

Title: Duplicate buttons » How to remove default forum type
Category: bug » support

Well, yeah, if you have multiple types in the forum you get multiple buttons. That's by design, not a bug. It sounds like what you're really asking is how to remove the default forum type from the forum. I don't know off the top of my head... I don't think you can do it through the UI so it would likely take some code. Going to leave this open to see if one of the other maintainers happens to know.
