The theme only effects the Themes section of the website and also when set as default the enabled tick box does not stay ticked after saving.

First: please do not use " doesn' t work" as title. Titles are the ways developers browse through the bugs, so use descriptive titles, please.
Second: I canot understand what you mean. I read the question three times, but cannot make sense of it, can you plese rephrase the question?
