We're big fans of the work done on the Announcements module for D6. We've done several project management sites that make daily use of it. The question of the hour (of the last several months, actually) is "Will there be an Announcements module for Drupal 7?" As you know, there's virtually no mention of D7 on the project pages and, looking at the commits, it looks like development is no longer active. We're developers and would be willing to commit some cycles to the project. Can one of the project leads let us know what the game plan is, and if we can help?

I have not gotten Git to work for me, so I've been unable to do anything since that conversion. When I learn Git, I can get back to this.

Hmmm. Not sure what we can do to help out there. We've considered moving a project that's in Subversion to Git. Sounds more and more like that would be a good idea. Tell ya what... we'll get started on that. Maybe we can hop the Git hurdles together. :)

Title: Drupal 7 support » Announcements for D7

Thanks for the offer. Git for maintaining Drupal modules is different from maintaining a local repository. I also complicate it by insisting on a GUI interface.

A 7.x branch has been started, but is not yet useful. If you want to submit patches, this is a good issue to do so.

Installed and getting error code:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function pager_query() in /home/saartekala/domains/saartekalandus.ee/public_html/sites/all/modules/announcements/announcements.module on line 361

Is there any solutions to fix it?

Wants to upgrade webpage to D7 with announcement module - needed so much!

From the project page: The 7.x branch has been started, but is not yet anywhere close to functional. If you wish to help move it along, feel free to submit patches.
