I know I'm not really an idiot, but trying to use Drupel is making me feel like one! Is there no place to get instructions on how to use this? The help included with Drupel is anything but, the forum entries are all Greek to me. I have some programming in my past, and web dev for several years, but I guess at the age of 50 I need some clearer instructions than my younger colleagues. I need something in plain English, that explains step-by-step how to get content to show up on the pages I intended it to be on! Nodes, blocks, panels, etc. mean little to nothing. Sorry, my frustration is showing.

Yeah, Drupal is not easy but
Yeah, Drupal is not easy but can make your job easier. Since Drupal is not only CMS but also CMF (Framework) then hard for newbie to understand Drupal from drupal.org site. All manual and documentation here is not setup like a common book.
You need some like http://drupalfordummies.com/, pickup a book or try to find the pdf version. Also read this http://drupal.org/books.
Making progress
I made some progress with it yesterday. In trying to add content to a specific page I couldn't find anyplace to allow me to do so! Turns out, the mouse cursor was over the text 'Add Content' and I just couldn't see it! So, I'm getting the user profile page looking pretty good. Now, if I could just figure out how to add a media player that would only play the uploaded content of the individual user, I'd be just about finished. Any ideas?
