Hello,

Is there a high level roadmap, such as planned features for Commons?

Ah notice a mention here http://www.acquia.com/blog/moving-commons-drupalorg , but only found an old roadmap from a year ago on commons.

Perhaps links from the project page to the current roadmap would be great :)

Thanks for your interest in the Commons roadmap!

This is being developed actively within Acquia and we plan to share it soon to get your feedback. I'll update this issue when we do so!

Up!
I was not able to find the roadmap for Commons 3.x
It would be nice to have one because...

I have some localization problems most times I update Commons 3.x so before going into production I am wondering if a new version is planned to be released anytime soon.
In that case I'll upgrade first and then solve the l10n issues because when the media feature is officialy released I'm going to want to update right away :)

This media feature is going to enlarge the scope of this already great distribution and for that I gladly thank everyone working on Commons! G.J. \o/

Hi Zatox - Glad to hear that you're excited about the work we're doing on Media! Sorry to hear you're having issues with internationalization. Could you please open or point to a separate specific issue documenting the problems you're having there so that we can take a look?

Thanks!
Ezra

We're working on revising our 2014 roadmap and that's something we can share sometime over the next few weeks.

Ezra, sorry to pester you about this, but do you guys have an updated roadmap to share for Commons? I'm specifically looking for information on Media in Commons. I was about to open a new issue about it but thought I could ask here.

I'm curious if the CKEditor/Media integration will become default in an upcoming version of Commons. I am able to turn it on now but I'm not sure if it is ready for primetime. It may not be on by default because it's not ready! Thanks for any info you guys can provide.

Closing this as currently there is a lot of development going on - and since this issue is not used it is not relevant.
