I've added newsfeeds to the aggregator module, but when attempting to access the feed, it gives me the error - The feed from CNN seems to be broken, because of error " 13 Permission denied". (from a CNN feed)

I've changed the updates to once a day, and tried different feeds, still same error.

How do I remedy this?

I have the same problem.....been having it for some time now......can someone pleeeeeeeezzzzeeeee help

  • Can you pull up the feed while logged into your server?
  • Do other feeds work?
  • Has there been a network or proxy change on the server's network?
  • Has your network team or service provider started blocking different user agents?
  • Has your network team made network changes?

The drupal CMS is hosted by an external web hosting service.....Aplus.net
the link works in the built in RSS reade interface in the Administrative Control Panel....they have also enabled (according to them) outgoing connectivity to the IP of the feeds parent url of the RSS feed
This problem pops up for all RSS feeds.....

i was just wondering if you were ever able to find out what the problem is when the news aggregator won't show any feeds
