how to forbid a user to edit his profile ?

Hi Guys und Girls ;)
I have to forbid a user to edit his profile especially changing the password for the login (better were, if this user cant edit anything of his profile) Is this not implemented in drupal ? Can´t believe it ?

I would highly recommend against prohibiting users to change their passwords for the sake of security.
