Once an invitee has registered to the site, he will automatically become a buddy of the inviting user.
So wouldn't it be logical to show the list of the invitees also on the tab "pending requests" of the buddylist?

Unfortunately I am not a programmer. So I can't provide a patch. But perhaps is there someone else, who is interested in doing so?

Unfortunately this easily possible. Either the buddylist module would have to query the invite database, or invite would have to add its invitees to buddylist's pending requests.
The latter isn't possible right now, because it requires an existing user id, but when you invite someone you only have his/her e-mail address, not a full user (you're just requesting that he/she registers at your site after all).
The first solution is also unlikely because that would create a dependency on foreign code.

Given the fact it is merely a presentational issue I tend to not trying to fix this.
