I have created the first new role on a site for a local administrator. Even though I assigned the "access front-page" permission as well as permissions to create / edit / delete any page to this role (among others), when logged in as a user assigned to that role no "Edit" tab appears when the user navigates to the Home page. It is imperative that those users be able to edit the Home page content.
Am I doing something wrong - or is this a bug in the module?
I would appreciate any advice anyone can give me.
Mike

gmreed commentedI am having the same issue: roles that have the permission to 'edit any page content', as well as 'edit front page', are not able to edit the 'home' page (i.e. the node that the HOME links redirect to). Is there another permission that needs to be assigned?
Thanks.

simon georges commentedThe 6.x version of "Front page" is not maintained any more. This issue is closed for this reason.
Please upgrade to a supported version of the module and re-open if you still have the issue.
