I've created a mini - panel which allows me to configure the contexts and such. Once it is created I can navigate to the mini panels sections, and then click edit. This allows me to change the title and the category, but I'm not able to edit the context or the actual content of the mini panel like I was when I created it. Am I missing something?

ok, I just noticed that if you click on the breadcrumbs once you are in edit mode, you can alter the context and the content. Perhaps this works as designed but It seems like the UI is a little different than the rest of the panels implementation so I thought I would leave open just in case this was overlooked.

thanks

The UI is indeed different, it's not really a bug, though a feature request for improving the UI may be tackled some day. Seeing how much effort went into re-doing the Views 3 UI though, that could take a while.

Thanks for posting back with your answer :)

Here are instructions to edit a mini panel once you've created it:

  1. Go to Site building > Mini panels
  2. In the Operations column click 'Edit'
  3. Click 'Content' at the top
  4. On the right-hand side of the mini panel you've created, there should be a settings icon (not to be confused with the settings icon on the left-hand side of the mini panel). Click this right-hand icon
  5. At the top of the dropdown, between 'Disable this pane' and 'CSS properties' click 'Settings'
  6. Click 'Finish' to save
  7. Click 'Save'
  8. If you want to preview your change, click 'Preview'

This works for me. I hope you also find it helpful.
