I have a kids site in classic asp that I wish to put in drupal. I'd like to have all the urls (.asp) stay the same. Is this possible? I can host on either IIS or LAMP. Anyone have any thoughts? The site is at Percy Engine.com if that helps.

Step one: Burn anything
Step one: Burn anything ending in .asp. Step two: insult it's momma.

Your site looks pretty straitforward. The only down side is that you do have so much content that it will take some effort to get it done. It's not impossible, though. I had to import over 1,000 nodes before (www.mybragpage.com).
You can keep the .asp endings by enabling the Path module, which allows you to set up aliases for the pages in question. My personal feelings, however, would be to start afresh. Drupal easily handles 404 errors, but if you're concerned about losing search engine traffic, then the Path module is the way to go.

thanks
I may spare his momma for now. Great advice about the path. I didn't know if it would work for file extensions. I am concerned about the search engine traffic but I'll have to look things over and decide if I think things are worth the trouble.
