Is the user load patch still applicable for Drupal 5x? The installation instructions included in the latest release of civinode mention this patch. But the documentation also sites Drupal 4.7 as the latest version.

Please advise on how to proceed.

Thank you!

"The current version of CiviNode now in CVS is written for
Drupal 4.7, and probably will not work on Drupal 4.6. Module
installation (until the database schema settles down) is
still manual: you'll need to use the civinode.mysql file
to update your database. A civinode.install file will get
written pretty soon, once we are confident that the
schema isn't changing much.

CiviNode depends upon CiviCRM 1.4 Beta or more recent. In addition,
if you want to use Organic Group integration, you'll need a very
recent version of Organic Groups, and you will need the 'user load'
patch now up on Drupal.org (http://drupal.org/node/56614), since
CiviNode uses the patched code to get Organic Groups to link
Drupal groups with CiviCRM groups." (from the civinode installation test)

Grace,

The final version will run on "plain vanilla" CiviCRM 1.7. No patch is required for either the 5.x or 4.7 versions (4.6 is not supported).

I'll correct the note on CiviCRM version.

Thanks,
Rob

I've updated README and INSTALL for both branches, which should remove the confusion. Thanks for pointing that out to me.
