How to add the node id in page redirect rule

I have a requirement, where i am using page redirect on flag ,and i want the new content should have reference filed of the origin node If i hover the mouse over the flag I can see the node id in the URL
I am trying with Entity reference,can some help me how to achieve this and pre populate the referenced node id ,(Patch:)
I have got the page redirect working but the reference field is selection field, after saving the new content i don't see the reference, if i select the field manually it appears, may be i am doing something wrong in assigning the redirect URL ?
or some thing else to be done?
