Is the option to use the panel path functional?

I have a content pane view with exposed filters and 'Use Panel path' set to Yes. When you submit the exposed filters form the panel path is removed from the url but retains the querystring and redirects you to the homepage.

Could you please give -dev a try? The alpha3 is fairly old :)

Works in the dev version, although I'm using it within Quicktabs and that seems to break it again.

I downloaded Panels via drush and hadn't realised there wasn't a recommended release since March '11!
