Found a conflict of views, using the event view module

Description

Event Views 5.x-1.x-dev Views-enables the event fields and creates default event views.
Depends on: Event (enabled), Views (enabled)

Disabling this module, and checking my calendar, all the nodes show up correctly.

When this module is enabled, it seems to override any view I make under admin/views for the calendar.
There is a block called Calendar events that works, but normal calendar block and page won't show anything no matter what filter I use. I tested it by changing the view to full node, etc, and several of the other choices. The nodes show up fine. Only in Calendar view there would be nothing.

I can't follow this at all. You keep saying 'this module' but I don't know if you mean Event Views, Event, or Calendar. Then you talk about the 'calendar' but I can't tell if you mean the event calendar or the Calendar module calendar. And when you say 'normal calendar block and page' what calendar block and page are you talking about -- the Event module creates blocks, but no views, the Calendar module creates a default view. If there is a specific view that "won't work" I need to know exactly which view you are talking about and see an export of the view to tell what it is doing. And which version of the Event module are you using? There is a new version that is significantly different than the older ones.

Plus there have been dozens of updates the Calendar module which may have already changed the way this behaves.

So get the very latest versions of the Calendar, Date API, Event, and Event Views and see if you still have problems. If so, report back, tell me exactly what versions of everything you are using, try to explain which blocks and calendars you are talking about, and provide an export of the Calendar module view you are trying to use.

Hard to say if this still applies, there have been lots of changes since. Closing this since this is old code now. If there are problems in the 5.1 version, the plan is to fix them with the 5.2 version, so check the latest code. If there are problems in the new 5.2 code, open a new issue against that version.
