When I run the slideshow in Internet Explorer with controls either on top or bottom, when the slide changes for the first time it adds a space between the controls and the image.

Is anybody else experiencing this? Do you have any proposed fixes?

there is a older issue reporting basicly the same problem. just look at http://drupal.org/node/122071. im gonna examine this and try to solve it.

please see if the version 1.19 fix your issues.
i tested on WinXP and IE7 and everything worked normally: rotation, blending effect, width and height.
Windows XP and Firefox also worked.

Whatever you did in version 19 works well as long as the links are above the image. When they are below, IE7 is still adding a space between the image and the links.
