I don't seem to have any other way to store the uploaded audio except for everything in one flat folder. Great if I only had a few files to play. I have 100's. Is there any effort on this module to organize the storage a bit better? So we can have subfolders to upload into or at least to move the file to once uploaded?

at this point there isn't. the one thing that would be tricky is if you base the filename on some bit of meta data, what do you do when it changes? move the file? if someone wanted to write a patch to do this i'd be interested in seeing it.

I wouldn't store the filename or folder path in metadata. I'd put it so that after uploading we can move it to a subfolder via a dropdown menu. Mabye I can do the patch sometime in the next few weeks. It should be simple.
