I'm still trying to get OG Galleries added to a page, and I haven't received much detailed response, so I'm hoping breaking it down into smaller posts will help.
As best I understand it, a gallery is basically a taxonomy term. I have groups (i.e. vocabulary) and group pages created, and a gallery is a term in the vocabulary. If I go to my team page and go to the Galleries tab, I see the link to the gallery page. When I go to that page, it says (in some cases) there are no images found for this gallery. My question is, how do I add images? Is there supposed to be an upload button, or do I need to add/enable another module to do the uploading?
Also, how do I select the type of content that can be added? According to this, I'm supposed to make sure my image content type is set in my content type filter, but I don't see that option. The message at the top of the page says "There is no image field in the fields list for the OG Galleries view. If you want an image displayed in the gallery, add an image field to the view and choose the option to display it as a thumbnail." But how do I do that? Do I add a field of "Node:Type" and set the label to "Image"? Or another way?

OG Galleries
First, you need to have the Image module installed, enabled, and configured. You can use a custom content type with the imagefield field, but I wasn't able to get it to resize images properly. That said, once you have the image module running, you have to go to the Views admin and alter the view you've added from the default Gallery view. Add the Image field and Image Display Image to the Fields option in the View and in the Filters section add the Node Type option and set the operator to "Is One Of" and the Value to Image. Save the changes and now everything should work as advertised. There should be an option in the Group Block to "Create an image" that will allow you to upload an image to the gallery.

I want to clarify what you're saying here. When I look in the Add Field drop down list, the only option I see is Image: Display Image. When I add it, it has options for Handler of Image or Image With Link. Is that what you were referring to? Or are there two fields I need to add?
I do have the ability to add images now, though. I'm so stoked!

One Field
Sorry, in my playing around trying to get this to work initially, I believe I added the other field "Image: Image (field_image)" as well, but it does not seem to be needed. I'm not entirely sure what that field is even for. If yours is working ok now, go with it!
