I suggest making a version 7 of this module as well. It seems that the only required change is to edit the .info file to set core = 7.x to make it work.

I can second that the 6.x-1.0 branch of this plugin works as-is if you change the .info to:

core = 7.x

Would appreciate a 7.x branch setup so we can automate the install using Drush.

Here is a patch for the .info file intended for use in a working new 7.x-1.x branch. Also I added wysiwyg module as a dependency in .info . Regards!
