1. use two icons for each Role, one displayed if the user is currently logged in (online), the other if the user is not logged in (offline).

2. for the 'offline' icon, on mouseover (or something) display the 'time ago' that this user last logged out, ie the end of their most recent login session.

Sound good?

Not really. If there's not a lot of interest, I'm not going to implement such a feature.

I would be interested in just having one set of online/offline images for every user. Or is there already some way to do this via theming? I'd actually prefer to display nothing if the user is offline, but an image when they're online.
