Queue mail has been ported to D7 and is pretty much feature complete and tested and working in production.

Maybe the MailQ project could add a link on the project homepage to Queue mail as an option for people looking to queue mail in D7?

As Queue mail has Drupal 7 & 8 ports, it doesn't make sense to port. Will fix the bugs in 6.x version and will provide link to Queue Mail.

We can contribute missing features in Queue Mail that's in mailq (if any) to Queue Mail itself.
