Comments order in Drupal 7 - how to change?

I might be a dunce but I am building a freelancers site where clients can give feedback as comments.

So I want NEWEST FIRST.

This seems to be deprecated in D7.

I have found hints that it can be done in VIEWS, but no idiots guide to doing so.

I'm sure the answer is out there, so anyone with a link, most appreciated. (Meanwhile, waiting for the D7 Views Cookbook due in Feb...)
